Red Canyon Rafting is located within the Wuzhishan Red Canyon Cultural Tourism Scenic Area, 12 kilometers away from the downtown area of Wuzhishan City. The scenic area covers an area of 3,000 acres and is a composite scenic area integrating sightseeing, leisure entertainment, and health living, with the theme of Wuzhishan tropical rainforest and canyon rafting. The scenic area mainly has four tourism resources: tropical rainforest experience, Red Canyon rafting, mountain amusement, and hot spring health resort.

The Red Canyon rafting course is 3.8 kilometers long, with a drop of more than 80 meters. It is named for the yellowish-red color formed by the rocks along the way being washed by mountain springs and rainwater. The canyon's rock walls are steep and peculiar, with many rocky beaches and rapids in the river, and the banks are covered with primitive tropical rainforests, often with mountain top springs and waterfalls falling from the sky.
