Introduction

Nanwan Monkey Island Ecological Tourism Area is located about 14 kilometers south of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, on the Nanwan Peninsula. It is nestled against mountains and waters, surrounded by the sea on three sides, with a narrow shape and a total area of 10.2 square kilometers, consisting of 12 undulating peaks of various sizes. There are countless large and small caves on the mountain, with strange rocks and rugged stones. The animal and plant species on Nanwan Monkey Island are numerous, with a forest coverage rate of 95%, making it an extremely rich ecological resource. The island is covered with dense broadleaf forests and shrubbery, fragrant with flowers and fruits all year round, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate. Nearly 1,500 lively and adorable macaques live on the island, which are classified as a second-class protected animal by the state. Nanwan Monkey Island is the only tropical island-type macaque nature reserve in China and the world. The Nanwan Monkey Island Ecological Tourism Area includes Monkey Island Park and DaiDai Island. The 2,138-meter-long cross-sea sightseeing cable car in the scenic area connects the mysterious Nanwan Monkey Island, the charming tropical harbor, the rich "Danjia folk customs," and the bustling fishing port scenery into one line. Taking the cable car to glide over the sea, visitors can overlook the grand scene of thousands of sails competing at the port and the fish racks standing tall; bathed in the cool sea breeze, visitors can gaze into the distance at the clean and charming beaches and the graceful coconut groves swaying with the wind, watch the white clouds embellishing the blue sky, and see the horizon where the sea and sky merge, providing a pleasant and memorable view. DaiDai Island is located in the coastal area of the southwest of Nanwan Peninsula, about 14 kilometers south of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, adjacent to the Qingshui Bay Resort in the west and facing Wuzhizhou Island across the sea in the south. The beach coastline is 5.9 kilometers long, which is particularly long on the east coast of Hainan Island and is well preserved as a beautiful beach. It is one of the ten most romantic scenic spots in Hainan and a place of primitive ecology and tranquility. Danjia Fishing Rafts are located on the sea surface of Xincun Port in Xincun Town, Lingshui County, Hainan Province. The port is 4 kilometers long from north to south and 6 kilometers wide from east to west, covering an area of 24 square kilometers. The port is narrow but wide inside, surrounded by the Nanwan Peninsula on both the east and west sides, with calm winds and good shelter from the wind, making it a unique natural good harbor. Danjia Fishing Rafts are known as the "market on the sea" and are one of the "eight views of Lingshui."
