Nanshan Sea-based Guanyin: A Hundred-Meter Guanyin Statue Standing Above the South Sea

The 108-meter-high statue of the Bodhisattva Guanyin stands above the blue waves of the South Sea. This sacred image is not only a landmark of the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone but also a pilgrimage site for many Buddhist believers. The Guanyin statue is majestic and spectacular, with three integrated figures holding beads, a basket, and a lotus, symbolizing compassion, wisdom, and peace. Besides viewing from afar and up close, visitors can also take the elevator or walk up to the lotus base of the Guanyin statue, touch the Buddha's feet, and pray sincerely for blessings.

Nanshan Temple: A Magnificent Large-Scale Temple in the Style of the Tang Dynasty

Nanshan Temple is a large-scale temple in the style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, with the largest scale in South China, overall majestic and solemn. The Golden Gate (i.e., the Mahavira Hall), the Tusita Inner Court, and the Renwang Gate inside the temple are must-see places.
