Telling the story of "Beautiful Sanya" well ~ Sanya tourism enterprises go to Kazakhstan for marketing promotion

Due to the recovery of the international tourism market, the direct flight route from Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to Sanya, which had been suspended for three years and seven months, is about to resume. To coincide with the resumption of direct flights from Astana to Sanya on October 17 and the flights from Almaty to Sanya, Selfie Travel China, in collaboration with Kazakhstan's Selfie Travel and SCAT Airlines, held promotional events for Sanya tourism products in Almaty and Astana on September 18 and 19.

Representative hotels, yachts, and traditional Chinese medicine therapy institutions from Sanya participated in these promotional activities to assist in the promotion. A total of 608 Kazakhstani channel partners attended the two promotional events. All representatives of Sanya resources actively introduced their products and engaged in one-on-one exchanges with the Kazakhstani partners on-site. The events were simultaneously covered by major media outlets in Kazakhstan, bringing new vitality to Sanya's inbound tourism market that had stagnated for over three years and instilling confidence in the comprehensive recovery of Sanya's inbound flight routes.

As the first Sino-foreign joint venture inbound tourism operator in Sanya, Selfie Travel China has delved deeply into Sanya's tourism resources, packaging and promoting Sanya's unique tourism products to the Kazakhstani market. These include a variety of resort hotel products, traditional Chinese medicine wellness products, special seaside activities, and tours of ancient heritage villages, enriching vacation options and boosting marketing efforts to tell the "Beautiful Sanya" story.

Kazakhstani channel partners who attended the promotional events expressed that Sanya's quality beaches, long coastlines, abundant sunshine, and good ecological environment are highly attractive to Kazakhstani tourists.

The direct flight route from Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to Sanya will officially resume on October 17, with plans for four weekly flights from Astana and Almaty to Sanya. The number of inbound tourists is expected to increase by at least three times compared to the same period in 2019, with the Kazakhstani market expected to receive around 40,000 tourists annually.

A relevant official from Sanya's tourism and cultural department stated that this promotional event has strengthened exchanges between Kazakhstani departments and tourism enterprises, fully promoted Sanya's high-quality tourism resources, and better served Kazakhstani tourists. It is also a specific measure by Sanya's tourism enterprises to actively respond to the Sanya municipal government's strategy of "building an international tourist destination and a free trade port with high technological innovation," which holds significant importance for China-Kazakhstan bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange.
