Four flights per week! The direct flight from Sanya to Busan has successfully resumed.
At 1:09 a.m. on November 16th, flight BX373 operated by Korean Air Busan, carrying 194 passengers, arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport from Busan, South Korea, marking the successful resumption of the "Sanya = Busan" international scheduled route. At the welcome ceremony, representatives from relevant departments of Sanya City presented flowers to the crew, tourism industry delegation, and tourists aboard this flight to express their welcome.

The route is operated by Korean Air Busan in a self-operated mode. It flies four round-trip flights between Sanya and Busan, South Korea, every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The aircraft type is Airbus A321, with the inbound flight number BX373 taking off from Busan at 21:05 and arriving in Sanya at 02:10; the outbound flight number BX374 departs from Sanya at 03:05 and arrives in Busan at 06:30 (all times are Beijing time, subject to the airline's announcement).

This is the second direct flight route from South Korea to Sanya restored by the city this year and the seventh overseas route. On July 6th, the international passenger route from Seoul, South Korea, to Sanya was officially resumed, and starting from August 10th, it was increased from two flights per week to four flights per week. The opening of the Sanya = Busan route provides more convenience for tourists from Busan and the Yeongnam region of South Korea to vacation in Sanya. To gain a deeper understanding of Sanya's tourism resources and explore new cooperation models for tourism development and innovation in Sanya, and to precisely tailor Sanya tourism products for the Korean market, several representatives of the tourism industry from Busan and the Yeongnam region who arrived on the first flight will visit major tourist attractions and golf courses in Sanya for field inspections.

The inbound tourism market continues to show a positive recovery. In order to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in tourism, business, culture, and other fields between Sanya and South Korea, the Sanya Tourism Development Bureau went to Seoul, South Korea, in September to hold a tourism industry promotion event with tourism enterprises from the Sanya economic circle, and attended the 11th General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific City Tourism Promotion Organization (TPO) in Jeonju, South Korea, showcasing a diverse and friendly Sanya tourism image to the Korean market and closely linking tourism exchanges between the two places. A relevant official from the Sanya Tourism Development Bureau stated that they will accelerate the work of opening routes to Southeast Asia, Russia, Australia, and other places from Sanya, and jointly achieve precise marketing in major overseas source markets with tourism enterprises to enhance Sanya's competitiveness and reputation as an international tourism destination.
